Directions to Ski Mountain Chalets in Gatlinburg Tennessee
When traveling from the South, North and West, I-40 East to exit 407 is the shortest and most traveled route into Gatlinburg. On I-40 take exit 407 (Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, turn right off of the exit ramp and follow this road (Highway 66) approximately 9 miles to Sevierville. In Sevierville, the first large intersection meets Highway 441. Go straight through onto Highway 441 South. Continue 13 miles on Highway 441 South through Pigeon Forge and into Gatlinburg. Go to light #10 and turn right onto Ski Mountain Rd. Go about 3 blocks and our office is on the right.
Although this is the easiest route during the winter and early spring months, during the busier times of the year, summer months, car shows and the fall color change in October, highway traffic in the Smokies can be bumper to bumper, especially along the primary routes of Highways 66 and 441 leading into Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Take these less-traveled and more scenic routes to Gatlinburg.... it maybe a little bit further, but can easily save you hours in traffic congestion and frustration. From the Northeast (Virginia and West Virginia)
Take I-81 south to I-40 east toward Asheville
Stay on I-40 east and take Exit 435 (Newport) and follow Hwy 321 South all the way into Gatlinburg. Drive time from interstate is about 45 minutes. Entering Gatlinburg, at light #3 turn left and go to light #10 and turn right onto Ski Mountain Rd. Go about 3 blocks and our office is on the right.
From the East (Asheville)
Take I-40 west to Foothills Parkway exit 443, turn left onto U.S. 321
Follow U.S. 321 into Gatlinburg. Entering Gatlinburg, at light #3 turn left and go to light #10 and turn right onto Ski Mountain Rd. Go about 3 blocks and our office is on the right.
From the North (Ohio, Indiana or Lexington, Kentucky)
Take I-75 to Knoxville, to I-640 East, then I-40 East toward Ashville. Stay on I-40 East and take Exit 435 (Newport) and follow Hwy 321 South all the way into Gatlinburg.
